Farcry 2! Cry HARDER!

In Far Cry 2’s chaotic world of mercenaries, gunrunners, and armed militias, you’ll find yourself dropped into a dizzying web of shady clients and paper-thin alliances. All manner of names and faces are introduced during the course of the storyline, but the real star isn’t anyone brandishing a smuggled weapon in search of blood diamonds; it’s the daunting and awe-inspiring 50-square kilometers of African landscape that make up the game’s open-world setting. Aside from providing the opportunity to soak up an amazing sunset, Far Cry 2’s free-roaming terrain brilliantly harmonizes with the first-person combat. The diverse landscape and myriad environmental factors work alongside a wide assortment of weaponry to give you tremendous freedom to approach each mission. Combined with solid multiplayer, Far Cry 2’s sheer breadth of action provides you with plenty of reason to stay lost in the African wilderness despite an underwhelming plot and the occasional sense of tedium in navigating from one location to another on the gargantuan map.

Far Cry 2 is quite the looker.

Dissidia Cast List

In more Final Fantasy news, the cast list for Dissidia : Final Fantasy has been revealed finally.
For those of you who don’t know what this game is, is a 3-D action game in development by Squeenix for the PSP,
Set to be released around christmas in Japan, It will have wireless one-on-one game play and fights revolving around the use of individual special skill sets of characters to do damage to opponents. Players can also customize their characters with equipment.
The game will apparently be fully voiced and will allegedly contain twice the spoken dialouge that Crisis Core had in it.
The voice actors for Japan are:

Red Dwarf Returns!

This is about a month old, but it’s and episode of Robert Llewellyn’s youtube blog where he mentions something about a new Red Dwarf “something”, it also has Leo Laporte in it. Further investigation detals that it is supposedly two new episodes of Red Dwarf, followed by two other specials. The shows will broadcast sometime in 2009 and, if successful, could pave the way for further Red Dwarf  TV projects. Thanks to movie and broadcaster wrangles, Grant Naylor haven’t been in a position to produce new Red Dwarf since Series VIII went out to audiences of over eight million in 1999. This exciting development suggests a new and shiny future for everyone’s favourite sci-fi comedy. I will now resume screaming like a little school-girl. [llewtube]

Macross: Ace Frontier for PSP

Wholly crap! the PSP game I’ve always wished for is coming out in only a month!!! OMG OMG OMG OMG! (fanboy squeal). OK, ok I caught my breath…. it looks like there using the Gundam Battle Universe engine for this, which is a very good choice because this engine (and all of it’s predecessors) have gotten me through many a boring hour on the bus and at a relative’s house.

I am going to sum up the trailer here…
The game will have in game voices, it will include the Macross TV series, Macross Plus, Macross 7, and Macross Frontier. This game will also include a few extra mechas not shown in any of these series, This game will support WI-FI adhoc for up to 4 players as well as online support. Each mecha will be customizable, with the ability to upgrade stats and change the weapon load out. Much like Battle Universe it will include the ability to have a wingman help you out in most missions.

YAY Dell is going out of buisness!!!

Ok, ok maybe I’m being too hopeful. But being a former employee of Dell Canada, I have learned to despise those that run that overweight and pointlessly over bureaucratic company. This is a company that constantly judges there customers purely on the weight of their wallet, regardless of what you buy there. There multilevel customer support schemes are designed to piss off the poor and kiss the ass of the rich and those that may remotely be connected to government.

Anyways, I have always estimated that there inefficiencies and lack of effective organization would mean there downfall and it seems to me that Mr Dell (further noted in this post as Mr. Douchebag) finally realized it himself. What Mr Douchebag is TRYING to do is cut his losses and move ALL his factories to cheaper companies and employ barley legal working standards.

DragonSuck!!! The Hollywood motion picture!

Although the pictures REALLY hint that this movie is seriously going to blow giant DragonBalls, I still have a tiny hint of hope that this movie might actually turn out good. I know I’m probably the only one on the Internet that believes this, ok my good friend Mike believes this movie will be the greatest thing ever to come out since Speed Racer! but we kicked him off the net for being a Dubtard so he doesn’t count.

But remember a few years ago when we were all willing to bet our lives that that Micheal Bay was going to RUIN Transformers, and he didn’t the movie wasn’t that bad. I’m definitely not expecting anything great or good from this movie. I just have a small hope it won’t suck SO MUCH, that it causes a giant hurricane that wipes out half the United States!!!

Gosei Sentai Dairainger ep01

90% of why I like this show is because of the song in the beginning.
still though it’s the best super sentai I’ve ever watched, as it actually has hints to a real plot!!
8/10 is what I give this for a first ep. Also, this is what power rangers season 2 was based off of many years later.

This was also a pain in the ass to d/l, so be grateful dammit!

not bad, for a first ep I give it a 6/10, a much higher score than what I give on average for a harem anime.

I, being a sci-fi freak, decided to somewhat enjoy the first ep because of spaceyness and a super-inventor-nerdy-large-breasted-alien-princess-chick. I like nerdy chicks, so one thumb up. Maybe I’ll even watch the second episode.
