an japanese animation studio to produce a Batman animated feature.
People involved with this:
Shoujirou Nishimi (Mind Game key animator, Tekkonkinkreet character designer and overall animation director),
Futoshi Higashide (Giant Robo key animator, Saber Marionette J animation director),
Hiroshi Morioka (.hack//SIGN unit director, Tsubasa: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE co-director),
Yasuhiro Aoki (Animatrix's "Beyond" key animator, Tweeny Witches director) and
Toshiyuki Kubooka (Gunbuster chief animation director, Giant Robo character designer) directed the six animated shorts with the supervision of Bruce Timm (Batman: The Animated Series). Japan's Studio 4°C, Madhouse, and Production I.G handled the actual production of the animation. Batman comic writers Brian Azzarello and Greg Rucka, A History of Violence film writer Josh Olson, Batman Begins writer David S. Goyer, The Dark Knight producer Jordan Goldberg, and Batman: The Animated Series writer Alan Burnett each contributed the script for one of the shorts.
