Hey. Would anyone be swell enough to install some sort of Operating System on my computer prease?
I would even reimburse them with pop or candy.

I don't know where you live other than the building.
If you could come over and re/install an OS on four computers in my house, I'd pay you handsomely.

Okay few questions...

1: which operating system are you inquireing about?
2: do you have any LEGAL product keys for such operating system?
3: what type of computers? Laptop, custom made, dell, hp?
4: do you have Internet access or should I bring every driver and app known to man as well?

I'm inquiring about XP and Possibly 98 or 2000 or something for the crappier comp. I have 1 legal XP and 1 legal 98 SE and the plus cd key. I have the internet and quite a few apps myself. But, ya, the internetz. They are all PC towers with most probably not as originally purchased, meaning an upgraded video card here, a bigger hard drive there.

OK, easy enough, how crappy is the older comp? do you know the speed? If it's REALLY OLD the only modern operating system that'll run off of it would be a Linux/DOS hybrid. I highly recommend against windows 98 mostly because nothing supports it anymore and it's by FAR the easiest OS to hack.

All the computers can run XP because they're all good enough. The crappy computer really isn't that bad. It can run 2003 ok. I don't know about XP because I'm not sure on it's specs, though I've been told that it should be able to.
Another note, which may or may not be obvious or even matter, is that at least 2 computers don't have a funcioning OS on them, but just fornating the drive should be good.
